Mercy College's Master's of Science Degree Programs in teacher certification are noted for:

If you answered “yes” to either of these questions, the Individualized Certification Plan may be for you!.

The Master of Science Degree Programs in teacher certification are designed to provide preservice and inservice teacher preparation for students planning to teach in urban and suburban schools. The multiple options offered afford graduates the opportunity to acquire skills and credentials in many teaching specialization areas, thus increasing their employment potential in schools that need teachers to fill multiple and flexible roles. As professional programs approved by the New York State Education Departments, the various courses of study lead to initial and professional certification depending upon the background and area of specialization selected by the student.

The Division of Education also offers programs of study in School Administration and Supervision to prepare school administrators to assume leadership roles within school districts.
