    Program:

    The nursing administration program is designed for graduate nursing students planning to pursue a career in nursing administration. The program is taught in conjunction with the department of health services management which provides opportunities for collaborative and interdisciplinary learning. Students complete nursing graduate courses, and specialty courses including management theory, financial management, human resource management, strategic planning and measurement of organization performance. The program culminates in a 120-hour administrative internship.

    Facilities:

    Mercy College and the Nursing program have a variety of facilities and resources to support student learning. The College has a Learning Center whose purpose is to work with students who need assistance to improve their writing abilities. The College also has online learning experts available to online students.

    Mercy College students have access to state-of-the-art computer labs at the Bronx, Dobbs Ferry, and Manhattan Campuses. The Library has access to a volume of paper and online professional journals to support research activities.

    The Nursing program is registered by the New York State Education Department and accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE, 1998-2008).
