  New Transfer Students

Your Credits Go Farther at Mercy!

We enroll over 1,000 transfer students every year. In fact, we not only welcome transfer students, we are one of the only schools that offer scholarships to them! We have agreements in place with many area community colleges and this makes it possible for you to plan a program of study that begins with an associate degree at a two-year college and leads to a four-year degree and even a Master's degree from Mercy College.

Convenience and Flexibility

How can you fit a college education into your life? By making it convenient to get to class. We have campuses in Dobbs Ferry, the Bronx, Manhattan, White Plains, and Yorktown. For the ultimate in convenience, Mercy Online offers over 30 degree programs entirely online. At Mercy-you can take courses online, day time, night time, anytime.

Dedicated to Your Success-Teachers Who Care

Working closely with dedicated teachers: that's a fundamental part of a Mercy education. Our professors care deeply about their work-and about their students. They're gifted instructors, proven leaders, trusted advisors, and disciplined coaches. Classes at Mercy are small, and professors are eager to offer extra help, professional guidance, and academic advice. In and out of class, professors apply coursework to life. They know about the world because they've lived in it, worked in it, studied it with a trained eye. Their wisdom and experience can shape your education-and your career.

Articulation Agreements

Articulation agreements are made with specific degree programs at the two-year colleges where students are required to complete one of these programs before transferring. Each agreement ensures that transfer students receive the maximum number of credits allowed, enabling them to finish their bachelor's degrees as quickly and as economically as possible.
