This is an opportunity to join an experienced, dynamic teaching team. The Program has CAPTE accreditation. The curriculum is designed around a developmental framework and is designed for the adult learner. Many opportunities exist for collaboration in teaching and research projects.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to Program Director: Barbara Melamed, Ph.D. ABPP, the responsibilities include but they are not limited to program coordination of fieldwork sites and placements and teaching in the masters program.The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Developing and coordinating extern (MS 2nd year) placements for Marriage and Family Therapy Masters students. Evaluating such sites for their capability of providing adequate couple and family cases for externs. Developing contracts with supervisors to assure that appropriate supervision and documentation of hours is approved as per Licensure regulations.
2. Overseeing the practicum sequence to provide 600 hours of supervised experience over the course of a year. Work with the assigned Practicum Faculty teacher in all capacities that require staff assistance including documentation of records.
3. Engaging professionals active in practice to give workshops relevant to program goals.
4. Teaching one course each semester in the Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy Program.
5. Providing oversight for recruitment of supervisory personnel.
6. Coordinating the completion of PSYN 710 the cumulative experience for the MFT students which requires case report, literature review and presentation of case before an expert clinical supervisor with MFT background and a core faculty member of the MFT faculty.
Half time (20 hours a week) involves travel to fieldwork sites.
