Application and Registration
Students are encouraged to meet with the Coordinator of Cooperative Education beginning the second semester of their freshman year. After completing an application form and registration card, the student and coordinator discuss your background, goals and interests, and explore internship options with you.
The Placement Process
It is recommended that you start your Co-op job search early in the semester preceding your anticipated placement. The Office of Cooperative Education will send your resume to selected employers (on an ongoing basis) for positions that match your interests and qualifications. The employer will review all resumes received and decide whom to interview and hire. Students are also welcome to search out their own Co-op job through the Internet and other means. The placement process will be discussed in greater detail with the Co-op Coordinator.
