  National Science Foundation (NSF) Scholarship Program

 
 

Mission and Description:

This NSF grant offers scholarships to qualified Math or Computer Science or Computer Information Systems majors. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide talented, economically disadvantaged students with the opportunity to pursue full-time study toward their degree programs while lessening their dependence on work. The program also seeks to increase the number of underrepresented Math or Computer Science or Computer Information Systems students who complete degree programs and pursue graduate education in related fields of study. This scholarship is $1,562.50 for each semester and a maximum of $3125.00 per academic year. It's automatically renewed each semester until the student's graduation providing s/he is meeting the program's requirements.

Eligibility to Apply:

Being an undergraduate student
Majored in Math or Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
Have 3.0 or above GPA
Qualified for Financial Aide
Maintain full-time student status (exception is given to last semester prior to graduation.)
