If you have used this service before, you may go straight to the request forms:
If not, please read the following before submitting your request.
What is Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?
Interlibrary loans (ILLs) are materials borrowed from libraries outside Mercy College. For something from another Mercy branch please contact Circulation.
Who may use this service?
We will take ILL requests from any current Mercy student, faculty or staff. When the book or article arrives we contact you at the e-mail address or telephone number you provide. If you fill out a card, take care that your e-mail address is legible and that our reply will get through your mail filter.
If you’re in a Mercy library please ask the Reference librarian for help identifying titles that we have or can get.
How do I submit my requests and how many are allowed?
ILL requests are taken at the main library (Dobbs Ferry) Reference Desk on request cards -- OR you may send a request to the Interlibrary Loan department via e-mail.
