STAT-USA Internet is a source for business, trade and economic information from the STAT-USA agency in the Economics and Statistics Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce.  It includes domestic and international resources.

STATE OF THE NATION (SOTN) concerns itself with the United States government and other related entities.

General Economic Indicators:  Consumer Price Index, Producer Price Index, Gross Domestic Product, National Income and Product Accounts (NIPA)

Housing and Construction; Employment:  Employment

Cost Index, Local Area Employment and Unemployment, Weekly Unemployment and Claims Report

Manufacturing and Industry:  Retail Sales, Manufacturing, Trade, Inventories, and Sales, Industrial Production and Capacity Utilization, and Current Industry Reports.

Monetary Statistics:  Selected Interest Rates, Foreign Exchange Rates, etc.

Economic Policy:  Beige Book (summarizes comments from businesses and other contacts outside the Federal Reserve, Treasury Statements, etc.

GLOBUS/NTDB (Global Business Opportunities) offers daily trade leads from the Trade Opportunities Program (TOPS), as well as the Department of Agriculture.  It also offers daily procurement activity from the Defense Logistics Agency, the United Nations and the Commerce Business Daily leads.
