Mercy College Libraries strive to provide our online learning community services similar or comparable to those we offer our onsite patrons. As envisioned in our mission statement, our aim is to offer physical, virtual, and intellectual access to information resources, which are intended to support curriculum and instruction in a wide range of disciplines and degree programs, from associate to masters level.

Online learning students and faculty can access the Mercy College Libraries’ website to take full advantage of all the available resources, which include:

Access to the libraries’ subscription databases
Electronic Reference Sources
Electronic Reserves
RefWorks -- an online research management, writing and collaboration tool -- is designed to help format bibliographies, in-text citations, footnotes and endnotes.
Interlibrary Loans/Articles by Mail
Internet Resources

Of primary importance to online users is access to the full text of articles from our subscription databases and electronic reference sources, for which a proxy server authentication is required. Please see our document on Working from Off Campus
