About the Mercy College Speech and Hearing Center:
The Mercy College Speech and Hearing Center is administered by the Communication Disorders Department at Mercy College which is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
The Speech and Hearing Center is licensed by New York State as a hearing aid dispensary. The audiologists working at the Center are certified and also licensed hearing aid dispensers.
Mercy College Speech and Hearing Center is conveniently located in Main Hall on the Dobbs Ferry, New York campus. The Center has served the community for over 25 years with comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and therapy for pre-schoolers, school aged children, adolescents, and adults.
The Speech and Hearing Center offers the following:
- Comprehensive speech, language, and audiological evaluation and treatment services
- Year-round services with convenient evening and Saturday hours
- Clinical supervision by NYS licensed, ASHA certified professionals
- Visual and auditory monitoring systems in therapy rooms
- Reimbursement through a variety of insurance carriers
- Early Intervention services for speech, language and hearing issues
- Special programs for children
