  Coach Addison

Jennifer Addison is entering her third season as head coach of the Lady Flyers. She has coached Mercy to the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference playoffs in each of her first two seasons and last year the Lady Flyers returned to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the first time after a two-year hiatus. It was Mercy's fourth trip to the national tourney in the last six seasons.

Prior to her current stint at the helm, Coach Addison has had a long and successful relationship with Mercy College. When she came to Mercy as a student in the fall of 1991 - then going by the name Jennifer Hunter - the Lady Flyers were near the bottom of New York Collegiate Athletic Conference. Along with some other arrivals from her native Jamaica, Jen was a key component in improving the program's fortunes.

During her four playing years, she was a NYCAC All-Conference selection and established herself as one of the premier setters in the league. Her playing days were followed by a turn on the sidelines, as she served as an assistant under Coach Pierre for five years. She earned her undergraduate degree from Mercy in 1996, graduating Cum Laude with honors in public accounting and business administration. Coach Addison went on to earn a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management and she is now employed in the college's payroll office.
