Mercy College's cross-country teams travel throughout the northeast to compete some of the region's top-ranked programs. Since the program's inception in 1976 the teams have competed in seventeen NCAA Regional Championships. In November of 2002, the College was proud to serve as the host of the NCAA Division II New England Regional Qualifier at the famed Van Cortland Park.
The teams are members of the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference (NYCAC) and the Collegiate Track Conference (CTC). Each conference sponsors championships in cross-country and track/field. Mercy College has had a number of student-athletes earned all-conference honors and boasts two individual men's champions.
Our location places us in proximity to many miles of beautiful trails throughout Westchester County, providing various training options. Within twenty minutes of the Dobbs Ferry campus we can meet the challenging terrain of either the Rockefeller State Park Preserve or Van Cortlandt Park. We are committed to providing a quality educational and athletic experience for our student-athletes. Scholarships are available to qualified student-athletes per NCAA rules.
