The track and field team was established during the 2002-2003 academic year to provide athletes with a competitive venue to participate in area meets. The teams compete during indoor and outdoor meets throughout the Northeast. As members of the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference (NYCAC) and Collegiate Track Conference (CTC), individuals can compete for conference titles and opportunities to qualify for NCAA qualifying times.

During the coming year, it is expected that the number of meets will expand as will the talent pool representing the college. Interested prospective athletes are encouraged to contact Coach Bullock at 914-674-7220. Mercy College is a NCAA Division II member institution; therefore all entering freshmen and transfer student-athletes must comply with applicable recruitment standards.
