The Mercy College women�s soccer program enters just its sixth season in exsistence, having first taken the field in the 2000 season. There is an increased energy in the Mercy athletics community. With the support of new athletics director Kevin McGinniss, the coaching staff is out recruiting its first freshman class. The coaches have been attending tournaments all over the country. They are scheduled to attend PDA, NJ, LaGrange, NY and Columbia, MD for Memorial Day. They are also scheduled to attend the Surf Cup, CA, in August. The search for impact freshmen student-athletes to combine with our returning veteran players has been exciting. We look forward to working with the girls this fall.
