Located in downtown White Plains, this Campus has been recently renovated and offers an array of both undergraduate and graduate programs. To meet the needs of individuals with work or family responsibilities, courses are offered in a variety of semester formats and times, including evenings and weekends and blended courses which utilize the Internet.
The centerpiece of the campus is the Center for Digital Arts which has professional-level sound recording studios used by the Music Industry and Technology undergraduate program; high-end computer labs and an art studio used by the Computer Arts and Design undergraduate program; and the recently dedicated Mortimer Levitt Auditorium which is employed both for the presentation of student work and public events.
Among the many other undergraduate majors offered at White Plains is EDGE, an accelerated program that allow students to complete their courses in one year. Also offered are a Paralegal Certificate Program as well as the new Legal Nurse Consultant Program , and Education.
At Mercy, faculty members teach at all of the various campuses, and if more convenient students can also take general education courses towards any of their majors at the White Plain campus. Most importantly, classes are kept small, 10 to 20 students, which allows for more personalized instruction.
Accommodations include internet-linked computer labs and classrooms; a Learning Center; a library, and vending machines. The campus is easily accessible by car or public transportation from all parts of the metropolitan area. A municipal garage is immediately adjacent to the campus and bus stops and the Metro-North railroad station are within easy walking distance.
