Office of the Provost

A Message from the Provost
Welcome! Bienvenidos! to the Office of the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Mercy College.
It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to a collaborative and world-class group of scholars and staff that make up Academic Affairs. Mercy College boasts over 90 undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs taught by a wonderful group of caring faculty and staff working in five different schools: Business, Education, Health & Natural Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Social & Behavioral Sciences. Programs in these five schools prepare a wonderful diversity of students for a wide variety of professions and careers—and more importantly, Mercy’s curriculum actively prepares students for challenges of the ever-changing world with a passion emblematic of our student-centered mission.
It is my sincere hope that you will be able to visit our various locations in the Bronx, Manhattan, and main campus in Dobbs Ferry, to experience our focus on individual students and their success. I welcome you and your family to explore our various programs, library, and other facilities—and to interact with our outstanding faculty and staff. If you are near the Dobbs Ferry campus, I hope that you are able to stop by and introduce yourself. We are located on the second floor of Verrazzano Hall.
Go Mavericks!
