Science Technology Entry Program (STEP)

The program gives middle and high school students in the Ossining, Peekskill and Tarrytown school districts opportunities to explore professions in the scientific, technical, health and health-related and licensed professions. STEP also encourages students to pursue the education and training necessary to enter these fields.

STEP @ Mercy College

Mercy College's STEP helps to increase the number of historically underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students prepared to enter college, and improve their participation rate in mathematics, science, technology, health related fields and the licensed professions

STEP in the Summer

Take a look at what our STEP students were able to accomplish during the month of July at Mercy College. Students, in addition to getting academic enrichment for their upcoming school year, took part in research and hands-on activities.

The STEP Parent Advisory Council (STEPPAC) is a parent/guardian-formed council. STEPPAC advocates for the delivery of quality programs for students in STEP. SEPPAC also promotes the education of STEP students through various activities such as student cultural and enrichment programs, educational field trips and organizing parent forums.
