Course Reserves (Print) Guidelines

Faculty may place print and non-print materials, including books, copies of articles and videotapes, on reserve  for students during the semester.  Faculty should allow 48 hours for processing time before material becomes available for student use.  Course reserves are shelved at the Circulation Desk in the campus libraries.  Space constraints occasionally limit the number of items to be reserved over the course of a semester, but course instructors may request a brief borrowing period for materials to be taken out of the library, depending upon course and student needs.  Faculty who place materials on reserve may borrow them as needed during the course of the semester.  Fines for overdue reserve materials are $1.00 per hour up to a maximum of $4.00 per item.
