Hoover's Online (not available on mobile devices) - Hoover's Online provides comprehensive company profiles which contain company overviews and histories, including some coverage of private companies.  Use Hoover's Online to find product/brand name listings, competitors, officer names and salaries, product segmentation data, subsidiaries, and financial data, including access to annual reports and SEC filings. Hoover's Online also profiles industries and has an IPO watch calendar.

ImageQuest - Provides a strong academic focus, with millions of rights-cleared images from the world’s leading collections. Merck Manuals - Provides the content of these Merck Manuals on the web for free (visit Registration is not required, and use is unlimited. The web publications are continuously updated to ensure that the information is as up-to-date as possible.

MLA International Bibliography - Contains more than 2 million records for books and articles published on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics.

National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) - A federally funded resource offering justice and drug-related information to support research, policy, and program development worldwide.

New York Times Historical This historical newspaper provides genealogists, researchers and scholars with online, easily-searchable first-hand accounts and unparalleled coverage of the politics, society and events of the time.

New York Times - Publishes the complete text of important documents, speeches and presidential press conferences. The paper's reporters have won scores of Pulitzer Prizes throughout the publication's history. 

OT CATS: Occupational Therapy Critically Appraised Topics - Contains CATs and CAPs focussing on occupational therapy interventions. The earlier topics were completed by Australian occupational therapists participating in a year-long research project between 2002 and 2003. Completion of a CAT or CAP was the major assignment for the study, and resulted in the development of the website. The aim was to locate current best evidence, such as systematic reviews and randomised controlled trials.

OT Search - A bibliographic database covering the literature of occupational therapy and related subject areas. The full text of the indexed resources is not in this database, only the bibliographic information to identify the material and an author's abstract, when one exists. In the future, links to sources for full-text copies will be added to records in OT SEARCH. 

Oxford English Dictionary - Widely regarded as the accepted authority on the English language, it is an unsurpassed guide to the meaning, history, and pronunciation of words— past and present—from across the English-speaking world.  As a historical dictionary, the OED is very different from Dictionaries of current English, in which the focus is on present-day meanings.

PEDro: Physiotherapy Evidence Database - A free database of randomised trials, systematic reviews and clinical practice guidelines in physiotherapy. Search the database for bibliographic details, and sometimes full text, of trials, reviews and guidelines.

ProQuest - Provides abstracts and full text of articles in a wide range of subjects. Its constituent databases can be searched individually or combined.

ProQuest Black Newspapers - Provides access to esteemed Black newspapers from across the U.S. ProQuest Newsstand-Black Newspapers is a collection of current newspapers.

ProQuest Education Journals - Offers information on hundreds of educational topics, and from journals such as Childhood Education, College Teaching, and Harvard Educational Review.  

ProQuest Health Management - Designed to meet the needs of researchers studying the field of health administration, this high-demand healthcare management content provides the most reliable and relevant information on a wide range of topics, including from hospitals to Public Health Administration. 

ProQuest National Newspapers - Provides online access to the most respected national and regional newspapers from across the U.S. The titles in ProQuest National Newspapers offer researchers thorough coverage of local, national, and international events with journalistic balance and perspective.  

ProQuest Psychology Journals - Abstract and indexing with charts, diagrams, graphs, tables, photos, and other graphical elements essential to psychological research.  Also includes full text dissertations representing a range of psychology disciplines including behavioral, clinical, cognitive, developmental, experimental, industrial, personality, physiological, psychobiology, psychometrics and social psychology.

ProQuest Research Library - From business and political science to literature and psychology, ProQuest Research Library™ provides one-stop access to a wide range of popular academic subjects. 

PsycARTICLES - Contains articles from journals published by the American Psychological Association (APA), its imprint the Educational Publishing Foundation (EPF), and from allied organizations including the Canadian Psychological Association and the Hogrefe Publishing Group. 

PsycCRITIQUES - A database of full-text book reviews, produced by the American Psychological Association (APA), featuring current scholarly and professional books in psychology. It also publishes reviews from a psychological perspective of popular films and trade books. 


PsycINFO - The American Psychological Association's (APA) renowned resource for abstracts of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations.It is the largest resource devoted to peer-reviewed literature in behavioral science and mental health. Ninety-nine percent of its content is peer-reviewed.  

PsycTESTS - Produced by the American Psychological Association (APA), this is a one-of-a-kind database providing descriptive summaries, full text, and relevant citations on the development and assessment of tests and measures that can be used in research and teaching.

PubMed - Citations and abstracts include the fields of biomedicine and health, covering portions of the life sciences, behavioral sciences, chemical sciences, and bioengineering. PubMed is a free resource that is developed and maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), located at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
