Meet Your Librarians - School Liaisons

Mercy College Libraries School Liaisons seek to develop and maintain strong and continuous relationships between the Libraries and the College’s academic programs, with librarians and faculty working together to improve communication and access to quality library resources and services.

The main responsibility of all school liaisons is to communicate proactively and regularly regarding library-related matters with deans, department chairpersons, program directors, program coordinators, and faculty in the five schools, and acquire some degree of familiarity and understanding of the subject fields.

Library liaisons will seek to achieve transparency between the Library and faculty in dealing with library issues as it relates to the subject areas assigned to them, in an effort to build mutual appreciation and understanding between the Libraries and the five schools.
