A Message from the Provost

Welcome to the Office of the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Mercy University.

As Mercy’s Chief Academic Officer, it’s my responsibility to ensure our academic strategy and priorities are in concert with our mission of transforming students’ lives through personalized and high quality learning environments. The Office of the Provost is a team of dedicated professionals who work collaboratively with faculty and support offices across Mercy to help our students realize their academic and professional goals.

We oversee Mercy’s undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs, which are designed to help our students develop the skills, knowledge, and experience needed for their desired profession or career. Even more importantly, we ensure our curriculum prepares students for lifelong learning: Mercy graduates are ready to face the challenges of an ever-changing world. Our over 90 undergraduate and graduate programs are offered within our six Schools:

We also serve our experienced and highly qualified faculty, which includes Fulbright Scholars, published authors, and nationally and internationally recognized authorities devoted to excellence in teaching and serving the community. As leaders in their fields, our distinguished faculty bring timely, relevant, real-world experience into the classroom, blending theory with practice to provide impactful learning experiences.

In addition, we provide a number of mission-critical resources for faculty and students, including the Libraries, Office of the Registrar, Office of Online Learning, Office of Educational Assessment, Center for Academic Excellence and Innovation, Center for Teaching & Learning, and more

Our degree programs, our faculty, and our academic resources make Mercy an exciting place, and I invite you to learn more about us at our facilities in Dobbs Ferry, the Bronx, and Manhattan, as well as online.
