The Health Professional Programs at Mercy University prepare students to work within a variety of health care and community settings.
We educate compassionate and innovative leaders through interdisciplinary teamwork and service learning, while improving overall community health and environments of at-risk and/or under-served populations both locally and globally.

Physicians Assistant Program
Physician Assistants can be found in hospitals, private practices, outpatient care centers, health maintenance organizations, government agencies, colleges and universities and professional schools. Just some proof that a Mercy University master's degree can really take you places.
Interprofessional Education in Simulation Labs
Students from various health professions work with a simulated patient (a student actor from the University) in one of the simulation labs. These interprofessional experiences help students learn about other professions’ roles and responsibilities, values and ethics, and teamwork. These simulated experiences prepare them for their real-world clinical experiences.
Speech and Hearing Clinic
Our dedicated Speech and Hearing Center not only offers Mercy students studying Communication Disorders the opportunity to learn in a clinical environment, we've also provided speech, language and audiological services and treatment to the community for more than 25 years.
