Business and Accounting Scholarships

Levitt MBA Fellowship

An annual award to a student majoring in Business who intends to pursue an MBA. The Fellowship will be awarded on a competitive basis, involving the submission of a project essay, a transcript and an application. The successful student will be provided with funds to supplement tuition assistance during the year the student is enrolled in the MBA program.


Luzette Ceneus Scholarship Fund

This fund is awarded to a female or male Haitian majoring or minoring in business.


Michael & Karen Hayes Accounting Scholarship

A scholarship to provide assistance to graduate accounting students. The Chair of the Accounting Program will determine the recipients.


Matero Scholarship

Two partial scholarships are awarded to one full-time and one part-time student who are members of a union or have an immediate family member who is a member of a union. Eligible students must pursue a degree in industrial relations or business and have a record of academic achievement.


My Brother's Keeper Scholarship

Annual award for an African-American or Hispanic-American male enrolled in any major within the School of Business at Mercy College. The student must demonstrate outstanding work in his high school and college years, financial need, and a commitment to complete his degree at Mercy College.


Osemwegie D. Osayande Endowed Scholarship Award

Annual award for a Mercy College undergraduate student enrolled in the Accounting program who has shown outstanding work in their high school and/or college years. Eligible students must be of African ancestry, but preference will be given to those of Nigerian ancestry. Student awardees must display both financial need and the determination to complete their degree at Mercy College. Student awardees are encouraged to re-apply each year for a maximum of four (4) years.
