MBA Scholarship Program 2019 - 2020

The Mercy College School of Business wishes to attract graduate students who have performed well academically.  Accordingly, the School is providing select new incoming MBA students who have performed well academically in their undergraduate programs with scholarships for the 2019-2020 academic year beginning with students starting in the winter quarter. These scholarships will be applied equally over the remaining academic quarters in the 2019-2020 academic year beginning in the winter quarter of 2019 through summer of 2020 for the selected students provided they meet the following eligibility criteria:

  1. Be enrolled in at least 6 credits each quarter;
  2. Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5
  3. Remain in good standing 

Applicants will be considered for either of the following two awards based on the merit of their application.

The MBA High Achievement Award
Requirements for an award of $5,000 include:

  • Undergraduate degree GPA of 3.9 or above from a U.S. college or university that is regionally accredited
  • Must have completed greater than 50% of their total degree credits from the degree granting academic institution

The MBA Academic Achievement Award
Requirements for an award of $2,500 include

  • Undergraduate degree GPA greater than or equal to 3.6 and less than 3.9 from a U.S. college or university that is regionally accredited
  • Must have completed greater than 50% of the total degree credits from the degree granting academic institution

How to Apply

Submit an online scholarship application in addition to their already submitted complete admissions application. NOTE: Students should use their Application Portal login information to access the scholarship application form. 

In addition to the GPA requirement, the application requires that the applicant submit a short essay that will be evaluated on content (as specified) and on grammar and spelling.

Please note that applicants who receive other aid, such as tuition remission through a parent or guardian, tuition reimbursement from their employer, or who serve as a Graduate Assistant at Mercy may be ineligible in whole or in part.
