Come join us for our Virtual Accepted Student Day:

Saturday, May 30, 2020
11:30 a.m.

or

Wednesday, June 10th
4:30 p.m.

Is there still an Accepted Student Day?

On April 25th we will be hosting a Virtual Accepted Student Day so we can celebrate your acceptance and connect with you while we're not able to meet in person. We'd also love to see you on campus in June for our on-campus events.

April 25            Virtual Accepted Student Day – More details soon!

June 6              On-Campus Accepted Student Day – Dobbs Ferry Campus (tentative)

June 13            On-Campus Accepted Student Day – Bronx and Manhattan Campuses (tentative)

Can I visit campus?

Unfortunately, all campus visits and events have been cancelled for the time being. As soon as it is safe to do so, we would love to have you come visit. In the meantime, we have an awesome Virtual Tour you can check out.

Can I talk to someone if I have questions or need help?

Yes, that is what we are here for! While we are remote, we are standing by to assist our students and talk through topics like your financial aid award, living on campus, connecting you with faculty in your program, and everything else you would want to know. Email us at admissions@mercy.edu or email your counselor.

How do I commit to Mercy College?

If you are ready to commit to Mercy College, we are ready to get you all set to start classes! The first step is placing your enrollment deposit of $100 for a commuter student or $200 for a residential student. This will tell us you are committed to attend Mercy and will make you eligible to register for classes.

How can I send you my transcripts, test scores, and other supporting documents?

We know requesting information from your current, or previous, institutions will be difficult for the foreseeable future. We are currently accepting unofficial/student copies of transcripts and test scores at this time. We highly encourage you to send all supporting documentation to have access to through your applicant portal or by emailing documents to admissions@mercy.edu. Please note: official copies of all documents will need to be received in order to begin classes.

How do I register for classes?

Once you have submitted your enrollment deposit, you can register for classes. There are two ways to register – online through Mercy Connect or with the help of a PACT Counselor by phone or virtual meeting. We will be sending out additional information on registering to our accepted students very shortly. In the meantime, your Admission Counselor can help you make a registration appointment.

Do I have to decide by May 1?

No. Mercy College has rolling admissions and will honor your acceptance when you are ready to commit. The only exception is if we physically hit capacity on a campus or in a program. This tends to happen at our Dobbs Ferry campus and in highly competitive programs like Nursing and Vet Tech. We have moved our priority date to June 1 this year and are committed to enrolling and providing on-campus housing (optional) to all students that submit their deposit by that date.

Please know that we are 100% committed to making the admission process as enjoyable and efficient as possible for you. If you want to be at Mercy, you are part of our family and we will take care of you. Please let us know how we can be of service.
