A message from Mercy College Director of Athletics Matt Kilcullen
Matt Kilcullen headshot “We are so proud of Mercy’s athletics program. Through dedication to academic excellence and maximum athletic performance, our student-athletes succeed both on the field and court, and in the classroom. During the fall 2017 semester, 126 student-athletes maintained a 3.25 GPA or higher. In the past 2 semesters, five teams qualified for their conference tournaments, two teams made their first NCAA tournament appearance, and the women’s soccer team made it to the Final Four – the first for any Mercy team in the College’s history.”

“As a former student-athlete, I know the hard work and dedication Mercy’s student-athletes put in every day. With this renovation, our athletes will compete at the highest level, have a home court advantage and receive the support of the community–all components that contribute to a program’s success. Mercy’s student-athletes deserve this and I invite you to be a part of making that difference.”

Victory Hall Sports Center Renovations
Transforming Our Campus
Victory Hall Sports Center Renovations

The proposed gymnasium renovations in Victory Hall on Mercy’s Dobbs Ferry Campus transform the facilities to comply with NCAA regulations and provide a bright lobby, modern locker rooms, updated staff offices, restrooms and a Mercy College Athletics Hall of Fame.

The expansion will provide an improved playing environment for Mercy’s volleyball, and women’s and men’s basketball teams, giving them the same state-of-the-art resources as the College’s outdoor teams. The multi-use facility will provide space for recreational sports and special events.

You can be a part of this success by putting your name or brand on this new facility. We have many options for you to choose from to help provide a first-class atmosphere for our teams, students, supporters and spectators.

The renovations to the new sports center at Victory Hall are a chance to give that feeling to students yet to come— Mavericks and their fans alike—but like any victory, it takes a team effort. You can be part of Mercy’s history and the success of future Mavericks with a contribution to the new facility, from a brick to a scoreboard to a team bench, named in your honor.
