CNR - Students

Blue Angels,

We know you have a lot of questions, and we’re here to help you make a seamless transition to Mercy College. We come from similar traditions with similar aspirations, and we’re excited to welcome you into the Mercy family.

The Ursuline sisters who founded the College of New Rochelle had as their motto, “serviam,” which means “I will serve.” The Sisters of Mercy established Mercy College with a similar motto, “inserviendo consumere,” which means “to be consumed in service.” Now, Mercy College looks to serve CNR students in their time of need.

What to Expect as a Mercy Student

We’re going to do everything in our power to ensure you do not pay more, and might even pay less, to attend Mercy College. But, we can’t do that unless you update your FAFSA to include Mercy College with federal school code 002772. After Mercy College receives your FAFSA, you’ll receive an updated financial aid package.

When you’re ready to register for classes, reach out to the PACT Office at PACT@mercy.edu. What’s PACT? At Mercy College, every student has their own personal mentor who guides them through all aspects of college life including registering for classes and getting involved on campus with groups and activities. They’ll be your go-to person from registration through graduation.

If you’re currently living at the College of New Rochelle, we’re going to do everything we can to make sure that you have a place to stay in the fall. But, we need some information from you. To get started, reach out to Residential Life at residentiallife@mercy.edu

Mercy College has four campus locations in New York City and Westchester county that are ready to welcome you with open arms.

All are convenient to major roadways and public transportation including busses, subway and Metro-North. We’re also working on adding classes in some locations you know very well, including New Rochelle, Brooklyn and Harlem.

You’re now part of our Mercy family and the vibrant community we have across all four campuses. Mercy is home to more than 40 clubs, 16 honor societies and 10 NCAA Division II athletics teams. We can’t wait for you to join us and explore Mercy for yourself. Want to visit? Contact admissions@mercy.edu to schedule a tour. Still have questions? Consult our FAQs or call 1.877.MERCY.GO
