What is DegreeWorks?

DegreeWorks is a web-based tool that will provide a clear and convenient method for you and your advisor to track degree progress, to prepare for registration, and to plan for graduation. DegreeWorks is designed to aid and facilitate academic advising, but is not intended to replace face-to-face advising sessions.

How to access DegreeWorks?
  1. Go to https://mercy.edu and click Mercy Connect at the top of the page Access DegreeWorks
  2. Use your username and pin to log in. You can also get to Mercy Connect from https://connect.mercy.edu Mercy Connect
  3. Click on DegreeWorks under Student/Employee/Staff Applications

What is DegreeWorks?
  • Displays students’ progress toward Degree Completion
  • Keeps track of which courses were completed and which courses are still need
  • Shows which classes are currently being taken
  • Provides students with a “What If” audit to consider when thinking about changing majors
  • Allows students to plan ahead future semesters
  • Presents students with their grades in completed classes
  • Offers a GPA calculator
