Data on the Impact of our Programs (2017 - 2018)

Impact on P-12 Student Learning and Development

These data show the effectiveness of our graduates impacting the learning and development of their students, and include a comparison of the results for Mercy College with those from the Mid-Hudson region and New York State. 

Indicators of Teaching Effectiveness

These indicators show how effective our candidates are as teachers at the completion of their program. These evaluations were conducted by the cooperating teachers in the schools where they taught. 

Satisfaction of Program Completers

We administered an exit survey to our 2017-2018 graduates to solicit their feedback about how well the School of Education prepared them to meet the goals stated by our conceptual framework. The surveys were completed by 15 out of 416 graduates (3.61%). We also piloted a survey of candidates who returned to our school for an advanced degree or certificate in the 2018-19 academic year, after having earned a degree previously in one of our initial programs. The survey concerns their past experiences.
