Aimed at addressing the critical need for advanced education for teachers of English Language Learners (ELL) through graduate-level teacher certificate programs, the RESET program, which offers full tuition coverage, is offered through a $2.7 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

This clinically-rich grant-funded program offers teachers a tuition reduced pathway to ESOL certification, with the goal of addressing the shortage of NYC teachers in English as a Second Language/English as a New Language.

Admission Requirements

BS or MS Degree in Education or a liberal arts and sciences content area. Initial Certification is also required for advanced program options.

Other requirements may apply, depending on the specific program. 

In addition, candidates should submit the following:
