Submit with Application

In addition to information about the candidate, the application includes the following components that must be submitted all together on the application form:

  • Responses to the three essay prompts (see application)
  • An electronic copy of the candidate's college transcript (an unofficial copy is acceptable)
  • A current resume, which should include a complete listing of all teaching-related experiences. Here, "teaching" is to be broadly interpreted (e.g. camp counselor, tutoring, TA, hall advisor)

In addition, the candidate should arrange for two letters of recommendation to be submitted. One letter should be written by a faculty member in the discipline in which the applicant plans to teach. The letter should address the candidate's academic interests and performance. One letter should address the applicant's educator-oriented experiences and teaching potential. This letter can be written by a faculty or staff member or a noon-college person who has supervised the applicant in a teaching setting.

After the written applications are reviewed, qualified candidates will be invited for an in-person interview.
