Open World- Kosovo Group Meet Congressman Eliot Engel
Event Spotlight

October 17, 2017 – As part of the Open World program advancing professional development and civil society in southern and eastern Europe, delegates from Kosovo visited Mercy College to learn about higher education in the United States.  During their visit, the Open World delegates met with Congressman Eliot Engel and discussed workings of the American government and US relations with Kosovo.  Delegates also reminded the Congressman about Eliot Engel Boulevard in Kosovo.  The discussion was an exciting opportunity for the Kosovo delegates and Mercy’s coordinators of the delegation visit, Dr. Saul  Fisher and Dr. Sheila Gersh.
