Students who choose Biology, Health Sciences and Clinical Laboratory Science can pursue careers in hospitals, private laboratories and research facilities. Students can also consider graduate school and preparation for professional schools such as: medicine or dentistry.

Students can also choose our new Exercise Science performance track focused on fitness. The program prepares students for work in a variety of high demand fields, including strength and conditioning, personal training, weight loss management and performance coaching.

STEM Lab

The Step Up to STEM Summer Research Camp is a free four-week program that is intended to give students who have an existing interest in one of the STEM fields - Science, Technology, Mathematics, or Psychology - concrete experience in up-to-date research techniques that will give them a leg up in completing their degrees, finding work in the private sector, and completing advanced degrees. Students work in small groups led by instructors well-versed in their field, learning fundamental principles of problem solving: from conducting background research, to formulating a hypothesis and collecting data, to analysis and presentation of research findings. While doing this, students gain a firm understanding of how problems are solved in the real world, and develop confidence in themselves and their abilities to apply academic knowledge to addressing real problems.
