April 8 Message from The Division of Student Affairs

Mercy College seal

Dear Students,

I am excited to announce that Mercy College has received 100 doses of the Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine through a program with the New York State Department of Health. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is administered as a single dose. This vaccine will be available to Mercy students by appointment on Monday, April 12, and Tuesday, April 13 at the G-Level, Main Hall, Dobbs Ferry Campus. New York State currently prevents the College from offering the vaccine at campuses within New York City.

Students must register in advance via this link and bring their school-issued identification to their appointment. There is no cost to receive the vaccine. Please allow 30 minutes for your appointment in order to complete the necessary paperwork and remain for the post vaccination observation period.

If no time slots remain or if you are interested in getting a vaccine on campus on a future date if supplies become available, please indicate so here.

All New Yorkers aged 16 and older are eligible to be vaccinated. Appointments at non-campus vaccination sites can be obtained through New York State here.

If you have any questions, please contact the Student Health Office at healthoffice@mercy.edu.

We encourage you to share your vaccination story with us on social media using the hashtag #MavsGetVaxxed.

Sincerely,
Kevin Joyce
Vice President, Student Affairs
