Dr. Nannette Hyland, Associate Professor, Awarded 2021 Lucy Blair Service Award

Dr. Nannette Hyland, Associate Professor and Program Director in Physical Therapy, was awarded a 2021 Lucy Blair Service Award for exceptional service to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Hyland is an APTA Education Leadership fellow and is professionally active at the local, state and national level.  At the national level she is currently serving on the Academic Leadership Academy Oversight Committee and has been a member of multiple tasks forces over the years including one that explored the creation of an excellence recognition model within the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy.  At the state level, Hyland has served on the New York State Physical Therapy Associate (NYPTA) executive committee and has represented NY as a delegate to the national House of Delegates since 2014.   She is currently the Chapter Director for the Hudson Valley district as well as a member of the NYPTA Marketing and Engagement Committee.
