Dear Faculty and Staff,
I am writing to let you know that the College is reviewing new COVID guidance issued by Governor Cuomo on June 14. Due to the state’s adult vaccination rate reaching 70%, most pandemic restrictions have been lifted. You can read the Governor’s full statement here.
While Mercy reviews this new guidance, we want to remind you that the College’s COVID vaccination and on-campus mask policies announced last week are still in effect. In addition, the College will still operate at 50% of capacity in classrooms and libraries, and will maintain limits on the size of gatherings until further notice. The College will provide updates after we have had a chance to review the changes in guidance in light of maintaining the health and safety of the College community. Instructions are forthcoming about submitting vaccination and exemption documentation.
