Mercy College Wins Graphic Design USA Award

Mercy Scholars Program Brochure

For the second consecutive year, Mercy College has been named a winner in Graphic Design USA’s Annual Awards Showcase. Mercy’s 2021 award-winning piece, designed by Mercy College Senior Graphic Designer Nancy DeVico, is the Mercy Scholars Program Annual Summary 2020–2021.

The Mercy Scholars Program Annual Summary highlights the College’s Mercy Scholars Program, a scholarship initiative that helps students with limited financial means fulfill their dreams of a college degree. Students accepted into the Mercy Scholars Program are awarded a full four-year tuition scholarship, proactive mentorship through Mercy's PACT Program and professional development training. The Annual Summary includes anecdotes from program alumni, provides key statistics demonstrating the success of the program and profiles the generous donors who have made the program possible.

Out of the more than 11,000 projects submitted to Graphic Design USA's competition for consideration, about 700 were chosen as winners. The Annual Summary was selected out of pool of projects from Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, advertising agencies, and many other colleges and universities.  According to Graphic Design USA, “The pieces showcased – and their creators – are among the best and brightest – and most resilient – of our community.”
