President Hall Honored with Effective Leadership Award by The Latino Center on Aging

The Latino Center on Aging's 29th Golden Age Awards presentation took place on June 28 at Villa Barone Manor in the Bronx. The Masters of Ceremony were Jessica Formoso from FOX 5 News and Rafael Piroman from Thirteen (Ch. 13).

The Golden Age Awards are given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the Latino/Hispanic communities throughout the world. Awards are given for effective leadership, lifetime contributions, public policy initiatives, corporate contributions and community involvement. College President Timothy Hall was presented with the Effective Leadership Award for his ongoing success at Mercy College. 

Mario E. Tapia, president and CEO of The Latino Center on Aging commented, “It is a great honor and privilege to present President Hall with the 2018 Effective Leadership Golden Age Award of the Latino Center on Aging. We celebrate and applaud President Hall for his work and dedication to Mercy College and the education of our City’s youth, especially those of Hispanic heritage. President Hall is the best role model of embracing diversity and inclusion.”
