Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. – August 20, 2013- Eight Mavericks, members of the Mercy College women’s softball team, have been named National Fastpitch Coaches Association Academic All-Americans. To be eligible for the award, players are required to maintain a minimum 3.50 GPA. Congratulations to the following students who received this prestigious award for the 2012-13 season:

Mercy college Athletic Director Pat Kennedy says, "Here at Mercy College we focus on the complete student. The student athletes who received this award are a shining example of how one can excel academically and athletically.
