Mercy College business students recently participated in the Federal Reserve Challenge, a national competition for colleges and universities where students make economic forecasts related to monetary policy to judges at the Federal Reserve Bank. The Mercy student team included Camryn Clemens, Zain Bedi, Sarah Vatier, Michael Kaladijan and Rikki Allard, and they won the Bronze Medal. The team is third in the nation, right behind Columbia University and Rutgers University.

With this win, Mercy College jumped ahead of arch-rival Pace University, national champions for the past two years.

The students were chosen for the team after taking a course entitled “Federal Reserve Policy” this fall.

Congratulations to the Mercy College team!
