Mercy College MBA student Dr. Marie O’Connor recently opened a new cryotherapy called Nordic Cryotherapy.  Nordic is the first cryotherapy company within Westchester County. Bringing this innovative, cutting-edge technology to you locally. Cryotherapy can support clients in their quest for new approaches towards their pain management, performance enhancement and aesthetic struggles.

O’Connor described benefits of the treatments, which are at a chilly negative 264 degrees Fahrenheit for News 12. O’Connor says the treatments reduce inflammation, help muscle recovery and release endorphins.

The recently opened New Canaan location is the second for O’Connor, she opened an Eastchester location last year. In addition to her MBA and business ventures, O’Connor has a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and a Master of Science in Nursing Administration.
