Mercy College professor of business, Tom Milton, recently spoke at the 2016 Yonkers Historical Society History Awards on June 26. In addition to teaching at Mercy, Milton has also authored 14 books.

Milton spoke about blending history and business to build a promising career, and the paths students take while building their careers. Milton’s address highlighted that there’s not just one way to build a successful career, and that exploring their passions is how students expand their educations and their futures.

The event was held at the Sherwood House, and 12 notable students from each of Yonkers’ public schools received history awards at the ceremony. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/YonkersHistoricalSociety.
