Mercy College recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Health Professions and Clinical Learning Simulation Labs. The new Labs will provide students in the School of Health and Natural Sciences with inter-disciplinary experiences in health care facility settings.

Dean of School of Health and Natural Sciences Dr. Joan Toglia described the Labs, “We have the latest technologies, we have computerized mannequins and it is set up as an acute care hospital where students can actually practice on mannequins hearing breath sounds, lung sounds, insert a catheter or practice different medical emergencies like a cardiac arrest or even deliver a baby.”
