The Men's Basketball team has qualified for the ECC Tournament for the first time in Mercy College history. 

The team qualified as the No. 6 seed and will travel to Washington D.C. to take on the No. 3 seed, the University of the District of Columbia in a quarter final match on Wednesday March 2nd at 7:30 p.m.

"We will compete with pride and dignity as we represent Maverick Pride! This is hopefully a first step of many more great team accomplishments to come," stated head coach Dr. Jody King.

The Mavericks enter the tournament with their most wins since the 2004 - 05 season and look to try to finish with a .500 or better record.
