On September 21, a group of Mercy students enjoyed the new musical Come From Away at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on Broadway, thanks to discounted tickets offered by the Office of Student Life.

The Tony Award-winning musical tells the story of the residents of a remote town in Newfoundland who opened their hearts and homes to the passengers of 38 planes stranded on September 11, 2001.

After the show, students met with actor Geno Carr who plays several characters, including town constable Oz Fudge. He graciously answered questions about the show and his career.
