Here are a couple of sites that are useful to review volunteer opportunities in the New York Area. For these more general volunteer search opportunities, it is important to be sure that the placement will provide the proper experience for the internship course. The site must be in a related social and behavioral sciences field. The volunteer work itself must be primarily related to a social and behavioral sciences career. There must be a supervisor who can be contacted to complete an evaluation and provide guidance.
