Local Referrals

Information on resources in Westchester and the NYC area is listed below. We have provided information on 24/7 Hotlines, Counseling & Mental Health Services, LGBTQIA+ Resources, Social Services & Community Centers, Domestic Violence Resources, and Medical Centers. If the resource is underlined, it is linked to the appropriate website with more information.

24/7 Crisis Hotlines 

Hotlines are free, confidential are easily accessible lines to speak to an unbiased, supportive counselor during times of crisis. One does not need to feel that they are immediately in danger in order to call although the responders are able to talk individuals through all situations. Numbers are listed below. It also may be helpful to store these numbers in your phone under contact names that you find helpful.  

National Suicide Prevention Hotline

Domestic Violence Hotlines

These numbers can be stored in your phone contacts, memorized, or written on other pieces of paper. It is important that you chose a way to remember these numbers that helps you to feel safe.
