August 1st: Fall 2018 Housing Eligibility Deadline

Room and board charges will be placed on students' accounts in mid-June who have completed the following:
• Fully executed 2018-2019 Housing Contract, including selected meal plan
• $100 nonrefundable Housing Application Fee
• Full-time Fall 2018 Registration

Once you have room and board charges on your student account, you will need to work with the Office of Enrollment Services on the following to be eligible for Fall housing:
Room and Board paid in full for the Fall 2018 semester
• Payment Plans will not be applicable to room and board charges
• Conditional or otherwise incomplete financial aid packages (including loans) will not be accepted as payment toward room and board charges

Establish a method of payment for tuition and fees
• Current payment plan, confirmed financial aid, and/or payment in full

*If you are not eligible for housing by August 1st you risk losing your room assignment (if assigned during Continuing Room Selection) or not receiving one in August.

2018-2019 Continuing Housing Student Room Selection

We are glad to hear of your interest in returning to on-campus housing for the 2018-2019 academic year. To confirm your interest and participate in the continuing resident room selection process, please pay your $100 nonrefundable housing application fee by Friday, March 23, 2018.

Payment can be made:
• Over the phone: Students may call 1-800-637-2969 ext. 7168 to make payments by credit card

• In-person with the Office of Enrollment Services

• By Mail: Checks should list Student Name, CWID, and “Room Reservation Fee” to ensure correct processing. Checks can be mailed to:

Want to Live in a Single?

If you are currently in a single room, please make sure to complete by Thursday, March 8, 2018 the intent form you received by e-mail indicating whether you want to:

• Remain in a single,
• Participate in open room selection for another room type, or
• Are leaving housing

You may also e-mail this information along with your first and last name and CWID to ResidentialLife@mercy.edu.

If you are not currently in a single room, but would like to apply for a single room, you may pick up an application at the Residential Life office during office hours:
Monday - Friday
9:00am - 5:00pm
Single room applications are due back to the Residential Life office by 5:00pm on Thursday, March 8th.

**In order to receive consideration for placement in a single room, your $100 nonrefundable housing application fee must be paid.

Want to Live in Hudson Hall or a Hotel?

Please pick up a Continuing Resident Room Application Roster from the Residential Life office to apply for Hudson Hall or the Hotel. Rosters must be filled in with current residential students who all agree to live together. All roommates listed must have paid the $100 nonrefundable housing application fee and be registered full time for Fall 2018 in order for an application to be considered.

Fall 2018 Room Assignment Eligibility

Continuing residential students will have the opportunity to know their room assignment by the end of the Spring 2018 semester through participating in Continuing Resident Room Selection. In order to maintain your 2018-2019 room assignment, all requirements must be completed by August 1st:

• Fully Executed 2018-2019 Housing Contract
• $100 nonrefundable housing application Fee
• Registered full-time (12 credits or more) for Fall 2018
• Room and board paid in full for the Fall 2018 semester
• Established method of payment for Fall 2018 tuition and fees
