He is the advisor to the award winning newspaper, The Impact (theimpactnews.com)He grew up in northern New Jersey and began his career writing sports, news and features for North Jersey Media Groups. After winning multiple New Jersey Press Association Awards, he joined Mercy College. He began writring for the sports section of the Newark Star-Ledger before earning his MFA in professional writing, specializing in biography and fiction writing.His first book, Mercy College: Yesterday and Today, was published in 2013. His next book, the History of New Jersey Boxing, will be out in 2015. He is currently freelancing magazine articles in New York.
Most recently, he was elected by his peers to be the interim chair of the department of Communication and the Arts.
