Transcript Request Information & Procedures

Transcripts are official student records of academic activity at Mercy College. Official Transcripts are issued by the Registrar of the College.

Please be advised that students with pending financial obligations to the College will not be permitted to obtain a transcript until their account has been settled.

Mercy College Transcripts

Mercy College has partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse for all Mercy College transcript ordering. Mercy College students and alumni can request their transcripts by visiting our page on the National Student Clearinghouse website.

Official transcripts can be ordered and delivered by the following methods:

  • Electronic PDF Transcript: Provides fast, secure delivery within 1 hour. Transcripts are available to be sent via email 24/7. Cost: $2.50 plus $1.00 for electronic delivery.
  • Printed Transcript sent by 1st Class USPS Mail (this option is temporarily suspended until January 4, 2022): Order printed within 3 business days and delivered on 1st class mailing timeframes. Cost: $2.50 plus $1.00 for electronic delivery.
  • Printed Transcript sent by FedEx Expedited Overnight Service (this option is temporarily suspended until January 4, 2022): Transcript will be mailed via FedEx within 1 business day after the order is received in the Registrar's Office. Orders should be delivered to the recipient within 2 business days. Cost: $2.50 plus $30.00 for expedited Shipping.
  • Printed Transcript for Pickup at Mercy’s Dobbs Ferry Campus (Mercy Hall) (this option is temporarily suspended until January 4, 2022): Available for pickup at the Registrar's Office, Mercy Hall room SW50, within 2 business days. Please do not arrive to receive your transcript until the order has been processed. Cost: $2.50.

Note about electronic transcript recipients: Please be sure to send your electronic transcript directly to the intended recipient. You should only request electronic transcripts to be delivered to yourself if you are requesting a copy for your own use. Many institutions and organizations will require you to send an electronic transcript to them directly to consider your transcript official.

Note about transcript delivery to New York State Education Department (NYSED), including the Office of Teaching Initiatives and Office of the Professions: You must select “Employer or Other” as the recipient type, then under “Enter Business or Individual Name” type “NYSED.” With NYSED as the recipient, the personal information that New York State requires to process your documents will populate on your transcript.
