Many institutions and organizations will require you to send an electronic transcript to them directly to consider your transcript official.
Note about transcript delivery to New York State Education Department (NYSED), including the Office of Teaching Initiatives and Office of the Professions: You must select “Employer or Other” as the recipient type, then under “Enter Business or Individual Name” type “NYSED.” With NYSED as the recipient, the personal information that New York State requires to process your documents will populate on your transcript.
